Hahah. Though I admit, I'm getting a kick out of the caption "this guy"
BTW, I'm friends with Kate Miltner and also a nightlife photographer among the group. She mentioned to me that you guys at guestofaguest.com sometimes need photographers for event coverage; I'd be happy to do a few gigs for you guys if the timing is right. (Samples of my past work on my website; I've done tons of events and breaking news stuff for Mediabistro, Clubplanet, Gawker, Curbed, Gothamist, etc.) Just drop me a line if you ever need some help. Thanks!

That would be me.
For some reason, McGlynn got me all in this same lame white guy dancing pose when I was actively trying to achieve different poses for his pictures (it's well known that when he's holding a camera above your head, you're about to be captured for the Internet forever). I tried not to look dorky, but he has quite the timing. I mean, the same pose in EVERY PHOTO. And I was doing completely different dance steps each time.
My dancing that evening was also complicated by some very terrible leg and foot cramps from running the Idiotarod earlier that day (nearly 6 miles) in dress shoes. (even today, my legs are still a bit sore) My teammates and I mostly left around midnight - those of us who made it to Carney's party at all, anyway.
I wish I had better excuses than these.
