If you've never heard of Topshop, it's time to get your act together. The British retailer has locations throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East--and New York City will be added to that list come this fall when a Soho flagship store has its grand opening. Personally, I discovered Topshop while living in Dublin this spring, where the store was often described (by me) as "three floors of heaven." I was so addicted to their clothes that once, on my way to the cash register to return an ill-fitting swimsuit, I actually had to shield my eyes from the adorable spring collection to avoid further overspending. You see, there are so many things to love about Topshop:
Aside from the racks of Kate Moss-designed clothing, adorable shoes and 2-for-1 sales, my favorite thing about Topshop is their jeans. They are sold according to waist size and leg length, which is a godsend for me because it means I no longer have to awkwardly roll up my cuffs. I'm hooked on this place, and soon you will be too. Topshop's ability to appeal to a wide variety of customers with its fashionable yet affordable clothing is part of what distinguishes it from many American chains. So, if you know what's good for you, start saving up your money for the big October opening.

Plovgh, the new online farmers market
Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.

I lived in London for a few months - going into TopShop any day/time of the week is very overwhelming. Females wreak havoc when it comes to clothing there...all in the same it's entertaining and cool.
