New York Marathon Results: How Did Everyone Do?

by Chiara Atik · November 8, 2010

45,000 runners participated in the New York City Marathon yesterday, including some familiar faces! We're happy to report that Foursquare's Dennis Crowley and Naveen Selvadurai both managed to beat Al Roker and the Chilean Miner with their finish times.-

Additionally, CNET's Caroline McCarthy outran Tennis Pro Justin Gimelstob and New York Giants Receiver Amani Toomer. Edison Pena, who did most of his training, you know, IN A MINE, still managed to beat Meredith Viera, though not Subway weightloss hero Jared Fogle. Bobby Flay came in at a respectable 4 hours and 1 minute, and The Bachelor's Ryan Sutter brought in an insanely impressive time of three hours and twenty minutes.  And Al Roker? Well, he gave it the old college try and clocked in at 7 hours and 9 minutes, which may seem unimpressive until you factor in that Al Roker RAN for 7 hours straight, which is certainly more than what we do on a Sunday morning.

    Congratulations, everyone!
