We just got word that A&E has signed on for a little "Hammer Time."  The reality series will track the life of one-time chart-topping rapper-dancer MC Hammer and his family. A&E has ordered 11 half-hour episodes of the series, which is currently in production and will bow on the network later this year.  Yes but did they get the FIRST scoop on MC's current project like Rachel Sklar did at the Shorty Awards (see video above).  Doubtful.  This was reality at it's finest!
