These days: Ostrom would like to be recognized as a painter that depicts the female physical form impressed onto vividly painted canvases.
She told GQ, "People say 'Why don't you just paint with paintbrushes'?" says model-turned-actress-turned-artist Meredith Ostrom with a smile. "I say that I feel more connected to my painting using my skin. It's very tribal in a way - savage!"
In London Meredith's paintings are now exhibited and sold in New Bond Street's Opera Gallery, in the company of many of her favorite modern artists such as Warhol, Picasso, Hirst, Dali and Chagall.
