Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly recently put their over 5,000 square feet home on Porspect Park West in Brooklyn on the market. With 9 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, the couple is asking for $8.5 million (they paid $3.7) as they are ready to move onto the island (Tribeca). It seems that this would be the PERFECT FIT for MTV to pick up. Today the company announced that their next installment of The Real World will take place in Brooklyn. The show, which is completely old news as far as I knew, is on it's 21st season. It will be interesting to see how the locals take this news....we have our own set of Brooklynites that I can only imagine will do some eye rolls while reading this.

Real World, MTV, BrooklynThe house itself is way too good for the show. WIth all original wood carving and plaster work in 'perfect condition' and fireplaces in the living room, dining room, and kitchen and 3 of the 4 "master" bedrooms. It would be a shame to see what that cast would do to the place...Does this mark the end of the borough?

I'm only watching this if the gang has to live between a few Italian grandmothers in Grave's End. I'd like to watch them navigate those Italian poker circles.
