Because today through Sunday, Lippes' flagship on Hudson St will be brimming with bout 20 parent-seeking pooches. There are free Bloody Marys to be had, and all adopters will walk away with a cute "Adam Loves Dogs" tee shirt, as well as a cuter (and, with prices between $75 and $200, cheap) new companion. Plus the dogs come from ASPCA-recognized shelters, and, if they remain unadopted, are potentially at risk for euthanasia. You (and your new Natuzzi sectional) may not think you need all the hair and tear, but their instigator sure needs you.
