[Photo via, via] While the Paris Métro system is one of the best in the world, we have to give this one to New York. New Yorkers rely on the subway way too much to not take this one. We use it to get just about everywhere, making it one of the top five transportation systems in the world. Paris isn't far behind, but the subway serves at least half a billion more passengers annually. We'd be lost without it.
