Where The Well-To-Do Say, "I Do!"

The Waldorf=Astoria

Due to legal wrangling between the Waldorfs and the Astors, the Waldorf-Astoria ditched its hyphen and officially changed its name to the Waldorf=Astoria, an act that visually demonstrates equality between the two families. And isn't that what marriage is all about?

For their own perfect unions, many brides-to-be have turned to the amenities of the Waldorf=Astoria, which offers a four-story Grand Ballroom, the Starlight Roof, and the intimate chambers of the Conrad and Louis XVI Salons, where Princess Grace and Prince Rainier of Monaco once celebrated their engagement. Price varies from $200-$500 per guest, depending on season and space, while the site rental may go as high as $20,000. Here's what's constant: the equal sign will not look as welcoming at the end of a long receipt.
