"Best 2K I Ever Spent" Richie Rich's Villionaire: Glitter and Boom!

by Ross Kenneth Urken · February 11, 2011

In Eli Obus's above video above, Richie Rich and Johnny Weir talk about excessive fashion and "Trippin'-freude" (enjoyment of watching models fall in heels).

Richie Rich went bold as always in his Villionaire show at Hammerstein Ballroom. "Villionaire" comes as a combination of East Village boho style where Richie Rich got his start and the vintage glitz of affluent Uptown life.

Then of course there's the baroque Marie Antoinette influence, the huge hair, the glitter, and the sparkly underwear. Check out the pictures from the mayhem.

Richie Rich glammed up for the event, and design director Angelo Lambrou and celebrity stylist Mia Morgan held each other closely in anticipation.

Party Lady and  feisty nonagenarian Zelda Kaplan came out to support the Heatherette designer.

The night was a little bit of a drag...

Mark Baker, all set to open Double Seven next month, showed up and spoke to the front row gaggle in gregarious fashion.

And he looked on with Natalie White (far right), the star of Sundance buzz film Beard at Work and subject of a recent spread in Purple Magazine shot by Olivier Zahm.

It all started with some light harp music.

And quickly got heated with some smooching

Mia Morgan had a front-row seat.

Marie Antoinette gets reborn and dumped in Alphabet City on her wedding night in the 1980s.

He gets bent like a pretzel.
