Last Thursday night, Scallywag and Vagabond Magazine celebrated its launch by presenting an exhibition of the artist Serge Strosberg's work, entitled "The Dorian Gray Syndrome" - recent oil and tempera portraits, many of of Paris and NY socialites. ScV Chief Editor Christopher Koulouris welcomed a crowd that included curators from various museums, gallery owners, art collectors, media, and others including Prince Lorenzo Borghese, Angela Sahi, Fabian Cousteau, Robert Davi, Gossip Girls star Nicole Fiscella, David Janick, Doug Marshall, Ned Grace, Lisa Singer, Rick Davy of BK Fashion Weekend, Arthur Insana and Terry Oved.

Guests enjoyed live music by Angela Workman, a bellydance performance organized by Restaurant L'Orange Bleue, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, wine, sangria, Hint water, and Ricard chocolates. Serge's upcoming shows include exhibitions in Osnabrueck, Germany; the Palm Beach 3 Contemporary Art Fair 2009; the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens in West Palm Beach, and Miami Art Basel.
