Charitable New Yorkers gathered at Philips de Pury on Wednesday night for "An Evening of Design" hosted by the Quintessentially Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the welfare of disadvantaged people around the world, in conjunction with the Make It Right Foundation. Guests enjoyed cocktails courtesy of Chivas while browsing a number of items up for auction at a later date. Showcased among these items was Michael Wolfson's Genoa desk, the proceeds from which will benefit Make It Right, whose mission is to build safe homes in New Orleans' Lower 9th Ward.
