American Friends Of The Louvre Celebrate 20 Years Of Louvre Pyramid

Francophiles, architectural enthusiasts and everyone in between gathered last night for the Young Patrons Circle of the American Friends of the Louvre Second Annual Benefit. This year the fete celebrated the Louvre Pyramid, designed by preeminent architect (and genius) I.M. Pei. Pei was fittingly honored at The Centurion penthouse, one of the world's first residential building designed by Pei Partnership Architects and co-developed by Stillman Development International. And what a building it is! The weather was perfect for relaxing and sipping cocktails on the terrace, complete with spectacular views and even better company. The soiree was co-sponsored by Elle Magazine and Christian Dior, who dressed some fabulous socials and AFL members for the fete. Several lucky ladies were also treated to the contemporary jewelry from Bernardaud’s newest collection.

The evening’s hosts of the Young Patrons Circle included David Chines (dressed in Dior), Catherine Forbes (in Dior), Lisa Anastos, Jennifer Bell, Kipton Cronkite, Melissa Skoog, Olivia Chantecaille (in Dior) and Gustaf Demarchelier.

Hors d’oeuvres were passed around the luxurious abode, complete with four bars serving Absolut cocktails, champagne, wine, and more. The charity attracted a chic crowd including Alison & Jay Aston, Lydia Fenet (in Dior), Maggie Rizer (in Dior), PR princess Bettina Prentice and husband Jamie, Isabelle Forbes, designer Miguelina Gambaccini, Eveline Herrera, Eleanor Banco, Tatiana Perkin, Devorah Rose, Kristian Laliberte, Mina Jacqueline Au, and AFL’s Christopher Pastore.

Guests were privy to a special musical performance by the very talented Ayo, who sang for the likes of Real Housewives of New York Alex McCord and Ramona Singer, Simon Van Kempen, Dr. Jeffrey Moses, Keven Duffy, Tracy Stern, Dane Hope, Melissa Berkelhammer, Michel Witmer, Martin Dawson, Summer Rej, Samantha Lynch, and Jennifer Collins.

The evening was fantastic, and the space did not disappoint. The gift bag was even superb, complete with Dior make up (not too shabby!) Congratulations, YPC, your event was definitely up to Parisian par.

I was in Hawaii recently and spotted the Noel sisters frolicking on Waikiki Beach in their very tiny thong bikinis. Unfortunately I had my Hawaiian girlfriend, Sweet Leilani Schwartz, with me at the time. She noticed me staring at that fine okole and quickly grabbed my shirt collar, yanked me in front of her nose and said " How you like I bus yo face". She's only four foot -six but at 400 lbs, well, needless to say I have nothing further to report about the Noels.
