The Bowery Hotel was starlit Tuesday night during the after party for the Cinema Society and Detail’s screening of Gus Van Sant’s Milk, the story of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to public office as city supervisor in San Francisco. The star-dusted crowd included Juliette Lewis who talked magic with David Blaine; Adrien Grenier kicked it with Liam McMullan; Marc Jacobs cuddled up with Lorenzo Martone and Helena Christensen, Naomi Watts sat comfortably with Liev Schrieber and her bun in the oven, Taylor Momsen chatted with Ricki Lake, and the film’s stars, Sean Penn, Emile Hirsch, James Franco, Alison Pill and Josh Brolin sipped Moet with Charlotte Ronson, Chace Crawford, Rufus Wainwright, Jenna Fischer, Mark Consuelos, Rainn Wilson, and Le Call
