Last night, New Yorkers put on their finest and flocked to Fendi on Fifth Avenue. Instead of late-night shopping, guests celebrated the launch of Sharon Coplan Hurowitz's new book with champagne, music, and clothes.Enlarged prints from the book, John Baldessari: A Catalogue Raisonne of Prints and Multiples, were displayed next to the fur coats and sunglasses that line the store's walls. Halfway through the evening, rock-jazz pianist Eric Lewis (aka ELEW) took over with original rendition's of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama," which the crowd became overly excited about. Guests of the event included Brooke Shields, Prince Pavlos of Greece, and Fe Fendi herself.
