For a long time I thought that these sorts of events were somewhat meaningless..how could they help generate sales…most of the people that attend don’t buy anything either because they get the items for free or because they can’t afford them. After reading Kaplan Thaler and Robin Koval new book “The Power of Small” however, I realized it’s all about the small details — the buzz. I definitely underestimated the power of these small events now and they’re powerful effect…I guess never underestimate the power of anything is what I’ve learned…especially seeing how much attention this one random event has gotten.
