Friends Of The Israel Museum Celebrate The Written Word
[All photos by CLINT SPAULDING for PMc]. Last night, the American Friends Of The Israel Museum hosted a Written Word Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street. The artist Ellis G, who got his start as a grafitti writer, worked on an enormous canvas at the back of the room (so big he had to use a Michelangelo-esque laddar to reach the top), while guests, including Vera Wang, enjoyed dinner. All proceeds from the event benefit, naturally, The Israel Museum in Jerusalem. More pictures below…
