The Garden Party at Tavern On The Green, hosted every thursday by V&V Energy, was a lovely delight as to be expected. Included was a live band called Oblivious, refreshments by V&V all natural energy drinks, and above all, far too many beautiful and sweet people to even move (was defnitely not a bad thing). The band played covers ranging from Jane’s Addiction to Third Eye Blind.
I had the honor of meeting Zoe Mac, mother of Gordon and Erik Van Brock who own V&V. Zoe is an expressionistic painter who recently had a showing titled City Lights last week at the Allen Gallery in Chelsea. Another highlight of the evening was the Naked Cowboy’s appearance (whos body is remarkable I must say). I hope to revisit this party again and again; thankfully it is going on every Thursday night this summer!
