Yesterday New York City held the infamous Gay Pride Parade. (Go HERE for last year’s coverage). With all of its feathers, hot shorts, glitter, glam, and dance music the parade was by far an event to remember. The festivities began at 12 and continued throughout the day even through the rain!

The fact that so many people could get together from all over the world in harmony, and celebrate something that was shunned and frowned upon for so long and boldly show their pride is extraordinary. I only hope to be a part of something so great one day.

YESTERDAY WAS A DAY TO REMEMBER…I DID NOT GO TO CELEBRATE UPTOWN BUT DOWNTOWN. THERE WAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT THIS YEAR…A MATURE ATTITUDE AND JUST FUN…I THINK ANYONE WOULD BE LUCKY TO BE PART OF THIS GREAT PRIDE.

I ENJOYED CELEBRATING OUR PRIDE. WE TOOK OUR DAUGHTER AND STAYED THROUGHOUT THE STORM. NY WILL BE SEEING US FOR MANY YEARS TO COME! THANKS TO ALL WHO JOINED! I JUST WISH I COULD FIND OUR PICTURES THAT WERE TAKEN!
