Girl Talk, the mashup DJ fond of sweat suits and onstage riots, played to a semi-empty but fully raccous warehouse on the West Side to close out a week of Kia Soul Collective test drives.

The two hour wait to see opener “OJ da Juiceman” was well worth it for the crowd that strongly resembled an American Apparel ad sans nudity, and the energy rose to a fever pitch when Greg Gillis took the stage in full Girl Talk fashion, climbing on his equipment and inviting the audience to dance, scream, and help the giant inflatable toys crowd surf.
