New Yorker Festival Party Kicks Off Event Filled Weekend

Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy[All photos by JIMI CELESTE for PMc]. This weekend's New Yorker Festival kicked off with a party at the Cooper Square Hotel. Event participating joined notable New Yorker fans including Chuck Close, Nora Ephron, Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, Susan Sarandon, Jason Schwartzman, Andrew Saffir, Christine Baranski, Edie Falco, Salman Rushdie and Tilda Swinton.

This year's panels, discussions, excursions, talks and amusements, including a citywide interactive game based on trivia; were perfectly timed on a poor weather weekend, providing enrichment leagues beyond couch loafing.
