The RAJ on the ROOF party the Hovey sisters threw Saturday in Williamsburg was just another one of their super dope, off the hook, creatively stylish soirées that I truly believe Porter and Hollister were genetically bred or modified, not sure which one, to throw. The sisters Hovey wanted to pay homage to the RAJ or British rule in India, not from the standpoint of occupation, but from the angle of celebrating linen, pith helmets, gin, chutney and general opulence in a dusty place.
The spread was immaculate with good food, good drink, and the eclectic company only Porter and Hollister could put to together. Guests came dressed in their best safari whites, pith helmets, vintage badminton racquets and roorkee chairs abound. GofG staff and contributors were in full force. Thanks Porter and Hollister. MAD FUN!
