"Stand up for Heroes" Benefit for the Bob Woodruff Foundation
[All photos by AMBER DE VOS for PMc]. Despite our nation's current time of despair, New Yorkers are staying hopeful. Last night, The New York Comedy Festival and the Bob Woodruff Foundation teamed up in order to provide veterans and other guests with "an evening of hope, humor, and healing."
The third annual "Stand up for Heroes" benefit, held at Town Hall, both thanked and honored the United States' injured veterans by providing them with comedic performances by Robin Williams, Lewis Black, and the host, Conan O'Brien. Legendary musician Bruce Springsteen took the stage as well.
Other guests included Elvis Costello, Lisa Lampanelli, Wilmer Valderrama, Bob Woodruff, and Mariska Hargitay. All proceeds from the event went to the Bob Woodruff Foundation
