Temperatures Rise On Broadway As Burn The Floor Opens

As the mercury continues to rise, things are also heating up on Broadway with the opening of the latest dance show, Burn The Floor, last night at the Longacre Theatre to a star-studded audience and an even hotter after-party at Providence. Carri Anne Inaba, Nigel Lythgoe, Susan Lucci and world-class dancers all turned out to support the show previously performed in 30 countries. And, if you’re wondering why some faces seem so darn familiar, it’s because real-life couple Maksim Chmerkovskiyand  Karina Smirnoff from ABC’s Dancing with the Stars will guest star/dance for three weeks. Burn The Floor kicks off the new Broadway season and is set for a limited 12-week engagement.
