On Wednesday evening, Atlantic president Justin Smith generously welcomed guests into his beautiful Financial District home for dinner and a conversation about Race and Humor.
Kicking off an event series of intimate gatherings with a carefully picked guest list, this inaugural evening counted Waris Ahluwalia among its distinguished guests. After a lovely spread of Mediterranean tapas, attendees gathered for a witty, thoughtful dialogue with Daily Show Senior Black Correspondent Larry Wilmore and Atlantic Contributing Editor Ta-Nehisi Coates on the first night's subject selection. This was an entertaining and engaging stop in our event hopping, and we look forward to seeing what is next in this new and welcome calendar addition.
