Writers, Directors, Actors and Puppets Gather At The 2009 Lucille Lortel Awards

Last night Lynn Nottage took home yet another honor for her acclaimed “Ruined“, at the 2009 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. Other winners included Saidah Arrika Ekulona for Outstanding Lead Actress (Ruined, again), David Cromer for his incredible production of Our Town (which also very deservedly won Outstanding Revival), and Fela! A New Musical won Outstanding Musical. Also in attendance were Tim Gunn, Jeremy Irons, Ellen Burstyn, Parker Posey, Mamie Gummer, Jane Krakowski, Marcia Gay Harden, Kerry Condon, Christian Siriano, and, erhm, Lucy the Slut.
