Christian Siriano Spring ‘09 Proves That Being On Project Runway IS Valuable: Gets Smoocher From Heidi Klum Herself

Christian Siriano celebrated his highly-anticipated Spring ‘09 collection at The Loft at Highbar. Despite staying up for days to finish his first show, Christian was over the moon by the time he arrived. He was the belle of the ball as he buzzed around the party hugging friends and former Project Runway contestants. One photographer even mistook his mother for Fern Mallis snapping away as Christian almost hopped in her lap with excitement. Christian”s boyfriend Brad Walsh and Ultragrrrl and Josh Madden spun a Britney-heavy set as the crowd grooved and sipped cocktails.

The young designer struck “fierce” poses with a tan blond (reminiscent of a Ken doll, may I add) for photographers and chatted up party guests, who couldn’t help but gush over his uber-successful show. Super friendly and accessible, Christian was the perfect host and seemed absolutely thrilled at the turnout.
