Last night Jack + Bill hosted the party for our friends over at DANNIJO Jewels at Tailor restaurant on Broome St. The event featured a subtle presentation of DANNIJO’s Spring ‘09 line via bombshells in black-and-white sealed with red lips. The collection was a tribalistic rendition of Old Hollywood Glam that had an undertone of feminine masculinity. Show-stopper pieces included the golden female Tie–a hand-hammered gold collar with a sculpted mesh tie laden in golden chains.

The diverse collection was infused with unique vintage accents as well as lockets and vintage pearls. Friends of DANNIJO designers, Danielle and Jodie Snyder, were spotted mingling among the crowd wearing pieces from the eye-catching, statement powered line. The designers wanted the high-fashion, decadent line to be interpreted as accessible and wearable and felt that having their friends showcase it was the best introduction to the brand.
Actress Jordana Spiro and designer friends Abigail Lorick of Lorick and Hunter Lingle and Jen Dixon of Hunter Dixon stopped by the Jack + Bill party to celebrate the launch. We’re excited for their next gig that will feature only DANNIJO–the details have yet to be revealed, but we can assure you it will be one you won’t want to miss.
