So some of my friends and I were stuck in New York for New Year’s Eve and wondering what to do. The idea of being in a club on new year’s made us gag, so we came up with the idea to have a slumber party. We hadn’t had one since we were kids.
The only requirement was that you had to wear pajamas. And not sexy pajamas, comfortable flannel pajamas….

…..And I decided: what’s more comfortable then a onesie! I even got mine monogrammed with Scotty B. Well that was the first mistake. I looked like the fifth teletubby nobody talks about-drunksy skunksy.
Second mistake was meeting 2 hours before the party with co-hosts Lydia Hearst and Carrie Baker to get ready. Drinking at 7 pm is never pretty, although Carrie’s fridge has never been this full. By the time guests arrived we were all pretty much in the bag. We ordered pizzas which largely remained untouched, and even had dumb 2009 glasses and gift bags for our guests. I don’t think we even did a countdown to New Year’s! Regardless, I believe a good time was had by all as can be seen in the photos.
