Help Emma Cleary Name Her New Lounge Set To Open (Finally) In Double Happiness Space On Mott Street
173 Mott st. If it's walls could talk, they'd have some pretty interesting stories to speak of. Once home to Double Happiness, the space was bought by Emma Cleary in the hopes of turning it into Femme Fatale, an ultra exclusive girls-only-membership club. Femme Fatale was a fatal failure-it never happened. Alas, Cleary and company are set to open a new lounge in the space by early summer, and this time they mean business. Here are a few construction photos from inside the space: No word on the chef just yet, but expect a gastro-pub style menu upstairs, with lounge concept downstairs. They are currently welcoming suggestions for a name so feel free to comment…
