UPDATE: They were all at the Rodarte after party with Milla Jovovich, Jessica Szohr, Jessica Stam, Coco Rocha, and both Olsens.
EXCLUSIVE STORY: Last night, the biggest event of the NYC social calendar, the MET Ball, took place. This also means that it was one of the biggest nights for our city’s nightlife. Your relevance as a hot spot could be validated within minutes of an Olsen’s stilettos gracing your floors. So, where did everyone go to party? Well we know that some people were at Bungalow 8, like Mary-Kate Olsen, but the REAL talk of the town belongs to a certain fight that broke out at SubMercer. Apparently that’s where Kiefer Sutherland HEAD BUTTED Jack McCollough so hard that he BROKE the designer’s nose! Details below…
While guests like Mary-Kate Olsen, (who hit up more than one party of course), and Kirsten Dunst looked on, the actor apparently was upset over Brooke Shields. The winner? SubMercer by a landslide. Jack, one half of Proenza Schouler, is reportedly still in the hospital!
We have received several confirmations that Sutherland actually used a headbutting technique on the designer! Yikes!
What do you expect when Jack Bauer is trying to save the world? I’ve seen him do far more worse things than break a nose.
Rob May 5, 2009 5:13pm
Here in L.A. he’s known as an out-of-control alcoholic. Talk to anyone on 24, they’ll tell you.
helly May 5, 2009 5:49pm
Yes, my friend saw him in a LA bar, drinking way too much by himself. He couldn’t even stand up.
ThisPageIsStupid May 5, 2009 6:26pm
Sorry guys, but you cannot be serious, can you? Why should Kiefer do something idiotic like this? Since his DUI problem he has been an easy target to the press, that is all. If this story was true, much more media would talk about it. So please just THINK for a moment before you believe such shit. And an author who cannot even write his name (yeah it is Kiefer not Keifer) should really just shout up and leave reporting to the real experts…
Tony May 5, 2009 6:33pm
He’s got a huge coke problem, too. I know because I’ve partied with him. Though I stopped at 2am when he went to 8am with a friend of mine — on back to back nights!
Jenna May 5, 2009 7:46pm
Kiefer seems like such a nice, personal guy — I hate that he seems to have a problem with alcohol. But there are too many stories to support that he, indeed, does.
He’s such a talent — I hope he gets help. I heart him!

That douchebag of 1/2 of Proenza Schouler fucking deserved it! Kiefer is total awesomeness!

Listen. All Jack needed to do to avoid the head butt was answer one question: WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR?!
Incidentally…in what language is this article written?
Stanley May 6, 2009 3:30am
Yeah, i was partying with Kiefer, Tony (comment 6:33pm), helly’s friend (comment 5:49pm) and the whole 24-cast (comment by Rob 5:13pm), too. And yeah there were this Jack guy. But the story was a bit different. Kiefer did not drink or taky any cokes that evening, but all the other guys did. So everything kind of getting outa control. One thing let to another and - I think - it was Tony (comment 6:33pm) who eventually headbutted Jack McCollough. Kiefer was the one who tried to help and called the ambulance. Glad I could tell the true story of this incident…
You’re getting lazy you hot little “side-carriage” bit of man-meat.
…and I mean that in a good way.
SteveDenver May 6, 2009 9:26am
Details: Sutherland appeared extremely intoxicated, bumped into McCullough and an argument ensued, ending when Sutherland head-butted McCullough.
Sutherland was 86′d from almost every bar in Denver when filming here because he was always asking people where he could buy cocaine, touching women inappropriately, and falling asleep drunk.
He’s second-generation Hollywood royalty and a pig.
Dan May 7, 2009 1:03am
Sad.
A different news article reported that this designer disrespected Brooke Shields and Sutherland approached him. It also said that the designer refused to apologize after disrespecting her. This article said that Sutherland was basically defending the honor of Shields….
Too bad that our society has allowed for a man to lose a gentlemanly battle, and then instead of taking it like a man, it is ok for him to file assault charges. If he did not want his nose broken, perhaps he should have been nice and respectful to Brooke Shields.
Had Sutherland have punched this man, would that have been better to those of you who are saying negative things about Sutherland???? Please…. There was a discussion, there was an altercation, and the poor disrespectful designer lost the battle, this is a non-issue, and certainly should not be misdemeanor assault. People in our society need to learn respect. We have lost it and there are still a few that are willing to fight for it. I applaud him until police will release more information about what really happened. If Sutherland was out of control, and inappropriate then I applaud all of you condemning him. If the story is the designer was inappropriate, then lets place blame where blame is due.
I hope this means the end of 24. I never watched, it (does anyone?), I could tell they were using 911 to shove a paranoid -driven, pro-Bush agenda vehicle at the masses. So Jack Bauer is going to save the USA from fashion designers? HaHaa
