Our Must-See: The Imitation Game We're totally obsessed with The Imitation Game, staring Benedict Cumberbatch and Kiera Knightly (and think it deserves every award it's been nominated for). The film tells the inspirational, remarkable, true story of Alan Turing, a brilliant man who set out to break Nazi code in World War II alongside fellow mathematicians within a British intelligence agency (in doing so, he created modern-day computers). Alan faces all this while simultaneously struggling to keep his sexual orientation a secret from the government. By the end of the film, we were left totally speechless, moved, and in awe of both this powerful story and the performances that so amazingly told it. Now, the film has been nominated for Oscars including "Best Actor," "Best Supporting Actress," "Directing," "Best Picture," and more. So yeah, it's a must-see.
