If there was one show meant to have young edgy musicians, artists and scenesters in its audience at Paris Fashion Week, it was probably master interpreter of pop culture, artist and fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac's yesterday entitled "Fire & Ice." With a Björk-inspired fashion show held in a historic Parisian church featuring a performance by Katy Perry and Lana Del Rey's music video director backed by the church orchestra, and the likes of Santigold, A-trak and Mia Moretti in the audience, it only makes sense that The Cobra Snake be on hand for this exquisite collision of low and high culture.
