A Vietnamese Socialite Has Coronavirus After Attending Paris & Milan Fashion Weeks

If you've ever been corralled elbow-to-elbow into seats at a runway show or have been swept up by the well-heeled masses while waiting for the open bar at a "VIP" party, you'd know it was only a matter of time before the Coronavirus infiltrated the fashion set.

It didn't take long. While around 30 top editors and fashion execs, including Elle's Nina Garcia and InStyle’s Laura Brown, have put themselves into voluntary quarantine since returning home from international fashion weeks just to be safe, reports have surfaced that there has been one confirmed case among the style elite.

Vietnamese heiress and jet-setting socialite, Nga Nguyen, the daughter of a steel magnate and a fixture at black-tie events and fashion shows, has tested positive for COVID-19 after attending Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks. On her Instagram account, which has now been deleted, the 27-year-old documented her attendance at designer presentations including Gucci and Saint Laurent. In the past, she's been photographed alongside the likes of Naomi Campbell, Anna Dello Russo, and Giovanna Battaglia; she's even attended the Met Gala in New York.

We hope Ms. Nguyen has a quick recovery (and didn't pass it along to anyone we have to party with this week in New York).
