Dinner in the Sky
Started by a Belgium Company, Dinner in the Sky is a traveling franchise restaurant of sorts where 22 diners are suspended 180 ft in the air via a carefully constructed crane, designed just for the purpose of this unbelievably unique dining experience. The photo on the left shows diners enjoying their meal mid air while suspended in the center of Shanghai's blossoming financial district, Lujiazui. Dinner in the Sky has featured restaurants in over 45 countries so far, including: Japan, India, South Africa, Dubai, Australia, the US, Canada, Mexico, and much of Europe. If you have a few hundred bucks to spare and aren't afraid of heights, we suggest keeping your eye out for the next time Dinner in the Sky comes to a city near you!
