#SmearForSmear: The New Social Media Trend Saving Lives

Move over, Ice Bucket Challenge—there's a new social media campaign in town. You may have noticed that some of your favorite, usually-primped-to-perfection celebs have been looking a little less than photoshopped on their Instagram accounts lately. Well, they ARE wearing makeup, but there's just been something off. Like, smeared-across-their-faces off. Introducing #SmearForSmear, a cervical cancer awareness campaign  encouraging women to get their regular pap smears. With no ice water involved, this sounds like a hashtag we can get behind. Started by UK-based Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, the trending topic soon caught the eye of some A-list celebs, including Georgia May Jagger and Rita Ora, who in turn nominated the likes of Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn.
