Ralph Lauren's daughter and owner of sugary wonderland Dylan's Candy Bar, Dylan Lauren, tied the knot Saturday evening to Paul Arrouet, a managing partner and a founder of Marblegate Asset Management in Greenwich, Conn., a distressed-debt hedge fund. It was, of course, an affair to remember.
The bride and groom said "I do" in the garden of Dylan's parents' Bedford, N.Y. estate in a ceremony that included bringing her dogs up the aisle. After, there was dinner and dancing by the main house with a candy bar complete with banna splits and cheesecake laid out by the pool.
Dylan wore a dress by her father (sarcastic surprise!) who consulted Vera Wang (genuine surprise!) on the design. Gatecrasher reports that it had a single, angular, over-the-shoulder strap, was "a fitted and straight" design with embroidery around the bottom and "a little fishtail hem." She wore a diamond tiara by Cartier, diamond earrings and "very long antique lace veil." No pics have been released, but we have our eyes peeled for them.
Among the groomsmen were Andrew and David Lauren, while the bridal party included Danyelle Freeman, Nicole Levinson and David's fiancée, Lauren Bush, reports Page Six. Guests included Vogue's Andre Leon Talley, Martha Stewart, Alice & Olivia's Stacey Bendet and Eric Eisner.
