On January 8th, what has been referred to as “The first REAL society wedding of the century”, Vogue editor Lauren Davis married Colombian heir Andrés Santo Domingo at their privately owned island Baru off the coast of Cartegena, Colombia. Her 9 bridesmaids, including Tinsley Mortimer, Fabiola Beracasa, and Coco Brandolini, all wore gowns designed by different designers.
We are wondering how the couple is settling into married life, now that all the hoopla is over with. We will be sure to keep our eyes on them as they will most likely be attending many social gatherings in ‘08.
Who gives a hoot about these people? I never heard of them before in my life and could care less/

A society wedding indeed!!! Oh-except for the poser social climbing bride. She hit the jackpot & I say good for her! Mission accomplished. I’m not being sarcastic, I think it’s awesome she was able to infiltrate high society, but new Kennedys? Let’s not set our standards so low or get excited. Maybe in 3-4 generations, but not now.

wow it actually kinda of angers me that you are talking about her like that….she did not hit the “jackpot” and i know this because she is my cousin. my uncle, her father, was a successful business man who was the president of Perrier Water which he sold to Nestle Waters of North America (just to name a few of the deals he made). She is not a “poser social climbing bride”. First of all, get the facts straight, that way you will not sound ignorant next time you make a comment.
