Summer took its sweet time getting here but the weekends are finally bone dry and scorching hot. What better way to celebrate than with an epic 4th of July bash? There are plenty of people (including loads of visitors) that will be spending this holiday weekend in our beautiful city. I will be out east, rocking a bbq with the LOLA crew, but here’s some interesting things you can do in Manhattan to celebrate our nation’s independence:
Fireworks:
Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks:
Around 9 pm on Friday, Macy’s will have fireworks being released from 3 separate locations around the city. There will be a patriotic flyover at 8 p.m. courtesy of the U.S. Air Force. NBC will broadcast the fireworks live beginning at 9 p.m. EST.
