Last Night's Parties: Damien Hirst Premieres "The Complete Spot Paintings," And Fern Mallis Interviews Donna Karan
Last night, Damien Hirst had an opening night for "The Complete Spot Paintings," Fern Mallis hosted the 92 St Y with fashion icon Donna Karan, Alexandra Richards and Caroline Copley joined guests at the 7Eleven Gallery reopening, Matthew Broderick, Spike Lee, and Piper Perabo hit up the premiere of the classic American opera "Porgy and Bess" and so much more. "Stepmothers, Stepsisters, Witches and Virgins" opened at the 7-11 Gallery last Thursday, presenting an ensemble of young emerging talent and established New York City based artists, all working on themes from fairy tales. Artists include: Z Behl, Eneas Capalbo, Krista Donargo, Lance De Los Reyes, Lena Dunham, Gabrielle Grenier, Jake Levin, Judith Linhares, Alexander Massouras, Harry McNally, Matisse Patterson, Emmett Shine, Laurie Simmons and Kiki Smith.
