We have said it before and we will say it again, winter is over. It's time to celebrate the Vernal Equinox... at Equinox. The weather is heating up and summer will be upon us in little more than two months. Dieting is as much an American pastime as baseball or the 4th of July. We've adopted weight-loss trends from countries near and far, and we've eaten (and not eaten) foods that promise to help shed pounds faster than ever before. The Bourbon Summer Cartoon Crisis is the embodiement of art in DC: everything that is politically correct and socially acceptable colliding with the demons, desires, and fantasies that haunt us. In a twist that is oh-so-typical-Washington, the DC-based (confirmed) artist's name is kept anonymous to keep this fantasy world apart from, you know, the artist's successful, normal career life.

And so we have it. Let the Bourbon Summer Cartoon Crisis take you by surprise. Follow updates/learn more on [Facebook].
