Meryl Streep and Mario Batali were thick as thieves at last night’s Rouge Tomate party where they, along with co-stars Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe and Jason Schwartzman, director Wes Anderson, and a host of celebrity well-wishers celebrated the success of the thoughtful, innovative, and, yes, fantastic, Fantastic Mr.Fox . The Cobrasnake is really loving his frequent flyer miles. He bounced around Hong Kong for a bit, snapping great crowd shots. Bustle typifies many cities in Asia, sometimes overwhelming but more energetic, like when you go to a wedding somewhere lame and step off the plane back in New York (home!). It’s a good feeling. After this HK stop he had a little UK time, where he went to the Juicy Couture store opening in London, with Leigh Lezark, Derek Blasberg, Alexa Chung, Margherita Missoni and Juicy founder (someone to blame for those unfortunate jumpsuits), Gela Nash-Taylor. After some lovely ladies jumped to the other side of the pond for London Fashion Week, they also found their way to the Burberry show’s afterparty at the Horseferry House. Creative Director Christopher Bailey celebrated with brand face Emma Watson, as well as Mario Testino, Harvey Weinstein, Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung and Agyness Deyn. The last two ladies took a turn at the DJ booth, between band sets by the Kooks. This looks so fun. If our feet didn’t still hurt, we might actually feel a little nostalgia for our own tent time. But they do, so we don’t. Not yet, anyway. More»

They’ve all moved to New York for one reason or another, but Emma Watson, Agyness Deyn, and Alexa Chung are all home for London Fashion Week. Agyness and Alexa we can understand, but Emma? The freshman at Brown University claims to want an “American college experience”, but we’re pretty sure she’s the only Brown student who flew to London for the Burberry Show. Never to miss a fashion event, Mary-Kate Olsen also flew over for the festivities. It definitely takes a tireless set of girls to keep up with Anna! More»

I know, everyone is jumping for joy over the clothes, clothes, clothes! More from the weekend, we have Aysha Saeed’s Pop Up shop, which included sweets and shopping at Cielo. There was also Genetic Denim, an art installation of models and jeans. Then Mena Suvari, Anisha Lakhani and Alexa Chung joined Rebecca Taylor for her presentation and afterparty at Rm. Fifty-5 at the Dream Hotel. Finally, Carlos Campos showed his new collection at a 21st street loft. Phew! So much shopping, soooo little time! More»

Forget juice fasts or the master cleanse. Agyness Deyn knows that the best way to prepare for New York Fashion Week is some hearty activity, like bike riding, shopping (it’s totally exercise.) and, um, bowling. With only 17 days left until the fashion frenzy starts, Aggy has been fitting in plenty of all three. If you’re picturing her amidst a crowd of pot-bellied pros, think again: our favorite quirky Brit supermodel knows that choosing stylish accessories also includes choosing a stylish bowling partner. So who did Aggy bowl with? Click below to find out…

It was a true A-Lister event last night for “Burberry Day” held at The Palace Hotel. Complete with a red carpet, celebrities and style forerunners came out to celebrate the company’s new NYC headquarters. The highlight of the night was to be the lighting of the new (and huge) Burberry sign guests could view across from the party, but the real excitement came in the form of the attendees - including Orlando Bloom, Claire Danes, Kate Lanphear, Lily Donaldson, Molly Sims, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Alexa Chung, Derek Blasberg, Justin Long, and, well you get the picture… More»

Topshop’s not the only thing in fashion being brought over from the Brits. The latest London craze taking over Manhattan (and the US, for that matter) is Alexa Chung, the multi-talented, bi-cultural beauty who is no longer reserving those long legs of hers for the runways - or the British airways. The model/television presenter/writer has just touched down from London-town: Just landed in the big apple. Its boiling! (5:28pm Apr 27th from Twitterberry) said @alexa_chung. She’s officially here, and just in time: The Alexa Chung Show premieres on June 15th on MTV, which will be a combo of celebrity interviews and musical performances. More»
