Last night, we attended the New York preview for the 2009 Lifeball, Europe’s spectacular charity event for AIDS, which will take place in Vienna on May 14th. Event hosts Patricia Field, Allan Cumming and The Blonds (Phillipe and David) welcomed guests to the Red Bull Space to hear about all the big plans - Katy Perry will be performing and walking in The Blonds fashion show in front of 40,000 guests at Vienna’s City Hall. Adrien Field and Alexandra Alexis have a new site and a new “webshow,” Almost Arrived, and people are taking notice.  We’ve been patiently waiting for Gawker to jump all over these two, and this weekend, after they came across an ad in Craigslist for an intern for their new venture, they finally did.  Adrien swears it is a fake ad, and we have more than one “tip” claiming it was actually frenemy Kristian Laliberte who planted the ad as a prank.  Confused? Joseph Janus, the creative and design director of Bodhi Handbags celebrated his birthday with Bodhi and NYLON Magazine at Greenhouse last night with several friends and fans. An elegant cake was served, complete with chocolate-covered strawberries. New York City party boy Patrick Duffy threw his very own St. Patrick’s Day party Tuesday night at the Soho House to benefit AIDS Community Research Initiative of America (ACRIA). Duffy, who’s been responsible for the “who, what, when, where, and why” of some of this city’s best nights packed the house with a bunch of girls and boys in green including Adrien Field, Alexandra Alexis, Ron Heichert, Sean Stevens, Lauren Gould, Chuch Attix, and our favorite on-again couple Scott Buccheit and Naeem Delbridge.

Mixed-media painter Amanda Dolan recently opened her new show, “Heart Attack”, at the Ward-Nasse Gallery in SoHo, and we were lucky enough to be there at the opening.  With the help of DJ Tommy USA, cupcakes from Sugar Sweet Sunshine Bakery and twelve bags of heart shaped chocolate, Amanda exhibited her new colorful new series to guests like Tia Walker, The Apprentice’s Kwame Jackson and Troy McClain, Jessica Caban, Sylvia Heisel, Adrien Field, Alexandra Alexis, mom Jennifer Dolan, Molly Ashton, Talia Thelen, Trash and Vaudeville’s Jimmy Webb, photographer John Muggenborg and Amanda’s “Rock of Ages” drummer boyfriend, Jon Weber.
