Ronson And Dexter Jones Check Out Foreigner’s New CD Tour

On Friday, music fans including Joyce Varvatos, Lola Schnabel, Samantha Ronson, Charlotte Ronson, Annabelle Dexter Jones and John McEnroe checked out the Foreigner: Can’t Slow Down tour’s showing at the Nokia Theater and afterparty at RDV. The Ronson/Dexter Jones clan happily supported Mark, who produced a portion of the CD collection’s new music, which comes with a concert DVD and original tunes from the popular rock band. More »

Despite yesterday’s doom and gloom weather, husband and wife designers, Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia, held a little cocktail party for clients and friends at the Cooper Square Hotel Penthouse where they offered a sneak peak at their 2010 Resort line. Last night, 675 Bar served up specialty cocktails for Love Heals’ “Healed With A Kiss” event to benefit the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education. After a long string of delays due to construction, Topshop finally opens its’ doors tomorrow and Topshop’s top man Sir Phillip Green hosted a VIP shopping event for guests followed by a private dinner around the corner at Balthazar. Guests including Michelle Trachtenberg, Emma Roberts, Steve Aoki, Annabelle and Ann Dexter-Jones, and many more received first dibs on the store’s collection.

Last Thursday night Alexander Dexter-Jones demonstrated the musical genius and unequivocal cool of the Dexter-Jones and Ronson clan as he DJed to support the Art Production Fund at a private party of artists, designers, medialites at Phi. Genetically primed for hipness by trans-Atlantic socialite mom Ann Dexter-Jones and legendary Brit rocker Mick Jones, the brother of Annabelle and half-brother of the gifted ‘Royal Ronsons‘, Samantha, Charlotte, and Mark, Alexander cranked out the fun as he was born to do.

Annabelle Dexter-Jones, NYC Socialite Spawn, Hosts Radio Show On Bard College Radio
Want to hear what a budding undergraduate NYC socialite sounds like? Wonder no more! You can now catch Annabelle Dexter-Jones, daughter of Ann Dexter-Jones, live every Monday night from 8-10pm on The Summit, a show on Bard College Radio.
I of course couldn’t resist to see what she might be talking about so I tuned in briefly. Annabelle anchors the show with the sleepy-voiced Daphne Steinberg, a fellow undergrad. I have to say she was moderately entertaining. Her knowledge of late 90s television shows, namely Dawson’s Creek and James Van Der Beek, seemed fairly complete, and her commentary was well-informed.
Other topics included the meaning of Thanksgiving as well as some Alanis Morissette. Yes, some deep stuff indeed. In addition, her playlist included the following tunes to name a few:

Ballet Hispanico may be one of the hottest non-profits you could join. And by “hot” we mean “hot”. The members of the Ballet Hispanico’s Junior Society showed off their moves at their Fall Benefit last Thursday night, and trust us, they have some HOT moves. Would you expect anything less from the organization that celebrates one of Latin culture’s greatest contributions? I want to join just to have these people around me… maybe some of their suave moves will magically rub off on me. The fall benefit included a dynamic dance performance by Ballet Hispanico at the Joyce Theater. But the real fun began at the after party at the Maritime Hotel’s Cabanas club. With an open bar, and the fresh October air, there was nothing stopping those hot Latin moves from surfacing.

Celebrities and fashionistas descended on 14th Street lounge Country Club on Saturday night to celebrate with designer of the moment, Charlotte Ronson, who had her first show in the Bryant Park tents that morning. The torrential downpour couldn’t keep the crowd away from this party, with music by Charlotte’s brother, Grammy-winning producer Mark Ronson, and an assortment of specialty cocktails by Hpnotiq.

Anne Dexter-Jones is one happy mom. This Saturday, at newly opened Country Club, she helped celebrate at the after party of daughter Charlotte Ronson’s line. Her other daughter Annabelle Dexter-Jones was there to show support, as was son Mark Ronson, who DJ’d the event. Lindsay Lohan even showed up to support her bff’s sis.
