Yesterday Public Theater opened their newest Shakespeare play, the devilishly gender-swapping Twelfth Night, and hosted an accompanying gala attended by a high-profile crowd. Among the guests in attendance were actor Sam Waterston, comediennes Jane Krakowski and Sandra Bernhard, and, of course, daughter of a former President Chelsea Clinton. Public Theater’s rendition of Twelfth Night stars the lovely Anne Hathaway. Oh, and sorry for all the portrait-oriented photos. Friday found me as Interview and Alex and Ani presented the launch of Natalie Portman’s and Christine Alward’s makingof.com. The party was held at the Tribeca townhouse of Stuart Parr and the place was magnificent. You entered in the basement and were greeted by a full length swimming pool.
