Anthony Martignetti is ready to hang up his bachelor shoes for good, and he’s found a one of a kind catch to help him. That being said, his boys are not going to let him go without a fight.  At the couple’s picture perfect engagement party last night (which was an intimate affair taking place at the William Wall Clubhouse on the water overlooking the city), I got quite the earful of stories from the “bachelor party to end all bachelor parties.”  Apparently last weekend, Anthony’s “boys” (which include a considerable amount of havoc-causing Aussies), tore apart Montauk in their attempt to remind Anthony what he is leaving behind him.

It’s hard to find lasting frienships in NYC.  I have known Annette Amundsen for over three years and, though our initial meet ups didn’t go so well (as we often joke about now), she has become one of my best girl friends.  Through brunches, movies, late night chats over wine, long walks down Broome Street, business matters, and, of course; boys, Annette has been a sounding board for me throughout all of my little life dramas.  Every time Annette would leave us and go home to Oslo, I would feel a big hole in my life; in our city for that matter.  Annette may have been born a true Norweigan hottie, but she, more than anyone I know, was MADE for New York City.
