New York-based artist Todd DiCiurcio recently wrapped up a multi-week, in-house residency at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas P3Studio. Last night, Marc Jacobs sponsored the Art Production Fund's Urban Hoedown at 33 West street. Founded in 2000, the Art Production Fund is a non-profit organization that helps artists produce pieces that would be difficult to create alone, while also raising awareness for contemporary art. With a complete set of line dancers, a mechanical bull, and a performance by Ryan Bingham, the event also honored artists such as Kiki Smith, Mark Fletcher, and Tobias Meyer. More»

Last Thursday night Alexander Dexter-Jones demonstrated the musical genius and unequivocal cool of the Dexter-Jones and Ronson clan as he DJed to support the Art Production Fund at a private party of artists, designers, medialites at Phi. Genetically primed for hipness by trans-Atlantic socialite mom Ann Dexter-Jones and legendary Brit rocker Mick Jones, the brother of Annabelle and half-brother of the gifted 'Royal Ronsons', Samantha, Charlotte, and Mark, Alexander cranked out the fun as he was born to do.
