The Bourbon Summer Cartoon Crisis is the embodiement of art in DC: everything that is politically correct and socially acceptable colliding with the demons, desires, and fantasies that haunt us. In a twist that is oh-so-typical-Washington, the DC-based (confirmed) artist's name is kept anonymous to keep this fantasy world apart from, you know, the artist's successful, normal career life.
The artist told Guest of a Guest, "I would like everyone's impression of the work to be a unique experience...Ideally, I would like people to stumble upon them and to be taken completely by surprise."
