On Saturday, hundreds of photographers, designers, models, and graffiti artists traveled across the greater DC and Baltimore area to support what creator Luis Rosenfeld calls “a nonprofit fashion event and space for criminalized artists.” More»

[Photo: Countess LuAnn strikes a pose but doesn't strike out.] It was another ol' ball game out at East Hampton's Herrick Park as they hosted the 63rd Annual Artists vs. Writers softball game. The game raised a whopping $73,000 for local charities East End Hospice, East Hampton Day Care Learning Center and Phoenix House, according to Patch. This year's underdog, the Writers, came ready to play beating the Artists 17-12. Their newest team member, former Yankee Jim Leyritz, might have been one of the reasons behind the team's victory. Saturday's game drew a large 1,000 crowd thanks to the all-star lineup of Alec Baldwin, Christie Brinkley, Lori Singer, Josh Charles, Jim Leyritz, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Rod Gilbert, David O'Leary, Mike Lupica and many more. Culture was oozing out of Montauk this weekend as the Montauk Art Association put on their 17th Annual Art Show on the Green.  Artists from across the country (even one from Tibet!) came all the way to the tiny Hampton hamlet to showcase their work to Hamptons art enthusiasts and potential buyers. The people of Southern California united this past weekend not only to beautify the pavement of Pasadena, but also to bring home the Guiness World Record for Largest Display of Chalk Pavement Art. Over 500 artists took their sidewalk chalk skills to the streets of Paseo Colorado designing over 170 colorful murals. More»
