The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, an East End wild life-hospital known for rescuing and rehabilitating the region's injured native wildlife hosted a night full of wildlife awareness, exclusive auctions and owls. The not-for-profit organization held this summer's benefit at Liz Brown and Leslie Alexander's waterfront estate in Southampton but unfortunately there wasn't much "owling" at this Hamptons scene. Last night guests gathered around a red soccer ball at the Ico Gallery to raise money for disadvantaged children all over the world. The Nuru Project put on the event in order to benefit Right to Play, an organization that allows all children to play sports.
